MGSI is based at the Microsoft campus in Hyderabad with about 20 - 30% of its consultant’s onsite across the world at any time. This role is based out of Hyderabad and requires about 20% travel.
The SL / Marketing function at MGSI has the following business objectives:
1. Integrated GD into key SL offerings.
2. Create awareness about GD, its value proposition and engagement model, alignment with the global sales and delivery teams in the Areas.
3. Support the MGSI Sales team through creation of business collaterals required during the sales cycle.
This role will include managing marketing and business communications to effectively communicate to MGSI stakeholder (including internal employees). Examples will include road shows, marketing data sheets and collateral, customer testimonials, intranets & websites, media stories, ensuring high visibility in Microsoft communications
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading Key Service Line Initiatives and Customer Campaigns: Work closely with Practice / Delivery Directors to create and strategically position SL offerings. You will be responsible for day to day service line activities such as designing specific customer campaigns, marketing activities, and competitive campaigns; handling customer escalations; and delivers product and Customer Campaigns feedback to Areas & Redmond
2. Marketing Communications: The marketing communications program will include the development of business collateral, presentations, media campaigns and internal/external audience facing promotion campaigns as required by business stakeholders Develop and manage a team of copy writers, graphics designers, solutions owners to deliver marketing material as per the positioning and communications strategies;
3. Cross Collaboration: You will be responsible for creating a greater presence for Services not only within MGSI but also in all field organizations and Corporate will have very close alignment to all Area SLL & WW Service Lines (Redmond) Internal Communications
Desired Candidate Profile
Summary of Primary Job Functions:
1. Service Line Alignment: Meet SL ‘revenue summary’ targets by planning and factoring in a appropriate components and facilitating, crafting and overseeing business/solution value to customers across Service Lines. Deep stakeholder relationship development and maintenance, target customer profiling, strategy planning and development resulting in MGSI & Services growth plans, Opportunity identification, coordinated and integrated Service Line plans. Target alignment: Area Services Lead, Service Lines Leads and all Service Sales
2. Marketing Communications: You will also own & manage a team of highly skilled content writers and graphic designers to create and manage marketing communications material and programs for both MGSI & worldwide audience. This will include business communication, newsletters, marketing collaterals & other vehicles appropriate to communicate the status, vision & inclusiveness at all times
3. Creating a comprehensive communications plan for MGSI. Formulating effective ways of providing clarity on business goals, results and other important organization imperatives
4. Support the Employee communication rhythm
5. Readiness and Development: Stay abreast of Role focused Readiness by consuming relevant offerings or training. Maintain personal development plan.
